The Héroine bar
Start or end your evening at the Héroine bar, in the heart of Rotterdam. Inside the historic Industriegebouw on Kipstraat we serve oysters, light snacks, plenty of wines by the glass, surprising aperitifs and carefully crafted cocktails – selected by our sommelier Maaike Kauffman.
No reservation is needed for a seat at the bar. Pull up a chair, order a glass of champagne with a plate of oysters, or enjoy a full dinner on a bar stool. Our bar is the place for a drink before or after dinner, an aperitif with friends or a quiet glass of natural wine.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to reserve for the bar?
No, you are welcome at the bar without a reservation. Walk in, take a seat and enjoy a glass of wine, a cocktail or a plate of oysters. For a table in the restaurant we do recommend booking ahead.
Can I have dinner at the bar?
Yes. Besides drinks, you can also enjoy our full 5- or 7-course chef’s menu at the bar. Perfect if you are dining solo or as a couple and want to experience both the atmosphere and the food.
Do you serve natural wine?
Absolutely. Our wine list is a fine blend of conventional and natural wines, curated by sommelier Maaike Kauffman. We are happy to advise you on a glass that suits your taste.
When is the bar open?
The bar is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5:30 PM until 1:00 AM. You will find us at Kipstraat 12 in Rotterdam, in the south wing of Het Industriegebouw.
