Frequently asked questions
How long is my gift voucher valid?
Our gift voucher is valid indefinitely and never expires. That way you, or the person you surprise, can pick the ideal moment to dine out at Héroine in Rotterdam, with no time pressure. Whether you redeem it next week or next year, it stays fully valid for our chef’s menu, the bar or a fine bottle of wine.
How quickly do I receive the gift voucher?
You receive the gift voucher by email right after your payment, usually within a minute. The email contains a personal code and a printable voucher you can print or forward digitally. So even a dinner gift you need tonight is sorted in a few minutes.
Do I get the gift voucher digitally or as a physical card?
Both are possible: by default you receive the gift voucher digitally, and you can also have a physical gift card sent to you. Digitally you get a code plus a printable voucher to give right away. If you prefer something tangible, we’ll post a real gift card with track & trace (+ € 4,95), and if you’d rather pick it up at Héroine in Rotterdam, the card is free.
Can I choose the amount myself and add a personal message?
Yes, you set the amount of the gift voucher yourself and can add a personal message. From a small thank-you to a full dinner for two, you choose the amount that fits. Your personal note is printed on the voucher, so it becomes a real gift from you.
How do I pay?
Paying is secure and instant via Mollie, with iDEAL or credit card. You check out in a few clicks and then receive your gift voucher by email right away. There are no extra costs, apart from shipping if you choose a physical card.
What can the gift voucher be spent on?
The gift voucher can be spent on everything at Héroine: our seasonal chef’s menu, an evening at the bar or a special bottle from our wine list of conventional and natural wines. That makes it a lovely gift voucher for a restaurant in Rotterdam, for anyone who loves dining out. The recipient chooses what to order, up to the value of the voucher.
How do I redeem the gift voucher?
You redeem the gift voucher by showing the code or the printable voucher during your visit, and we deduct the amount from your bill. Reserve in advance via the booking tool on the site and mention on arrival that you’re paying with a gift voucher. That keeps paying smooth at the end of your dinner.
I’ve lost my code, what now?
No worries, we can simply retrieve your gift voucher. Email us at hello@restaurantheroine.nl with your name or order details and we’ll look up the code for you. In the meantime your gift voucher remains valid indefinitely, so you won’t lose anything.
